The consulting wing of Ashridge business school, Ashridge Consulting needed to establish its own sub-brand within the Ashridge Group. Our challenge was not to design a logo, but to create a secondary graphic device that would differentiate ‘Consulting’ from the business school and could be applied to everything from the company’s web pages to its stationery and sales brochures; from Powerpoint slides to internal signage. The solution – a simple but distinctive graphic – hints at the company’s approach to consulting: an external agency, arriving at its clients’ and looking at their businesses in the round, before delivering its recommendations and moving on.
